Subject Philosophy: Humanities (History and Geography)

At Queen’s Park Primary School, we are committed to delivering an exciting and stimulating topic-based curriculum encompassing History and Geography. Children are taught a rich variety of topics and are given the opportunity for cross-curriculum learning. We teach the Humanities with passion and facilitate engaging learning experiences for our children to ensure that new skills and knowledge are acquired and applied successfully.

• Encourage children to become responsible citizens who value and care for the environment.
• Enhance learning and develop cultural capital through purposeful trips, activities, and workshops.

Our Humanities curriculum supports and supplements the delivery of the National Curriculum.
